Should any resident in the construction
area experience any special problem, they are requested to contact the Mayor's
office for assistance.
2) Approximately 175 tons of cold patch was used since last November in street re-
pair. These were temporary repairs because hot asphalt will not be available until
Spring. Have discussed this
deficit with Finance Directors from Fairview Park, Glestlake and Bay Village as well
as Rocky River Clerk of Courts and Mayor Cowles and directors from all cities in-
volved in Rocky River. House Bill 477 determined how deficits in a court should be
allocated to the cities using that court. In February of 1981, the Finance Directors
of the cities involved with Rocky River Court, changed the way that would be done;
decided the deficits would be allocated per criminal case; passed an ordinance by
Rocky River and forwarded it to the different cities. Court costs have not been in-
creased since January 1st of 1981 and are currently $30 - $17 to Rocky River Court
and $13 to the State of Ohio. This is now being, studied and the cost will probably
be increased. mill continue to report to Council.
