<br />Council Ttinutes of 3/5/85 -7- <br />Mr .,;.Tallon reminded the Mayor that about a year ago he had discussed getting the <br />door at the north end of the Administration Building re-keyed for Members of Council <br />to use. Ha$-thus been done? Mayor stated that he would have to cheek with Service <br />Director Corrigan on this; it should be done; he will have it done; will report back <br />to Mr. Tallon on his findings. <br />Mr. [Zilamosky stated that a year or two ago a discussion was. held with respect to <br />storm sewer improvements on Walter Road that were eligible for payment out of EPA <br />funds. Mayor stated it is not eligible for EPA funding;. it is eligible as part of_ <br />a project the City participated in. City borrowed an extra $500,000 to do a portion <br />of rehabilitation of the sewer system,.. based on the .EPA ,Grant, which would take <br />care of the Walter Road storm sewer. This will then correct some of the infiltration <br />going into the sanitary system so it became an eligible project. ~4ayor promised to <br />have some documentation from Dalton, Dalton and Newport to present to the Streets and <br />Drainage Committee at the meeting on Monday, March 11th. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for Tuesday, March 12th at <br />7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Safety Committee Meeting for Tuesday, March. 12th, at 7:~0 P.M., <br />to review Ordinance No. 85-11 and invited the Law Director, Safety Director and <br />Acting Police Chief Marsh to be in attendance. <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Recreation Committee .Meeting for March 18th, at 7:00 P.M., <br />and requested that Safety Director Petre and Complex Manager Couts be in attendance. <br />Mr. Wilamosky advised Council that the Finance Committee would be holding appropriation <br />hearings on Thursday, March 7th at 8:15 P.M., and would welcome Council's participa- <br />tion. ?dould like the Mayor and Finance Director to be available. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled the regular BZD Meeting for Thursday, March 28th, at-7:30 P.M., <br />and scheduled a special BZD Meeting for Tuesday.,. March 12th, at 7:45 P.M., to go <br />over the Earl Scheib plans. Requested Building Commissioner Lundy to be present. <br />Mr. Wilamosky noted that President--Boehmer and Members of Council had received a <br />letter, dated March 1, 1985, from Police Officer Charles Jandecka, requesting payment <br />in the amount of $4,540 for legal services required in his case against the City of <br />North Olmsted. Mr. blilamosky moved that Council consider Officer Jandecka's request <br />to be a moral claim, in the amount of $4,540, and that such request be rejected by <br />Council, second by Mr. Tallon. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, <br />Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. ?degative vote: Bierman, Petrigac. 5 Aye - <br />2 Nay - t4otion carried. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at <br />9:45 P.M. <br />orence E.
