~ w <br />Council Minutes of 1/2/85 -5- <br />Under New Business (cont'd): <br />Because of the Special Election in January falling on the next regularly scheduled <br />council meeting date, Mrs. Petrigac moved Council schedule the next regular council <br />meeting for Wednesday, January 16th, at 8 o'clock instead of Tuesday, January 15th, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, O'Grady, <br />Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon. Negative vote: tJilamosky. 6 Aye - 1 relay - <br />Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Recreation Committee Meeting for Wednesday, January 16th, <br />at 7 P.M., to discuss Ordinance No. $4-120, and requested the attendance of Safety <br />Director Petre, Finance Director Boyle and Rec Complex Manager Couts. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for Thursday, January 31st, at 7:30 P.M., <br />with City Engineer Schaller and Building Commissioner Gundy in attendance; usual <br />agenda. <br />Mr. Tallon stated that while Dover Center Road is under construction, some of the <br />pot holes are getting to be sink holes; is becoming a safety hazard; can some kind <br />of material be thrown in these holes dust to fill them up temporarily? Mayor <br />Swietyniowski promised to get in touch with the county since this is a county road <br />and inform them of this dangerous situation. <br />Mr. O'Grady asked if it were appropriate to name the President Pro Tem of Council <br />at this time since it was usually handled at the first council meeting of the year. <br />Mrs. Saringer suggested council adjourn to hold an Organizational Meeting and decide <br />whether council also wanted to change committees of council. President Boehmer <br />stated this would be handled at the next regular council meeting and Mrs. Saringer <br />would retain her seat as President Pro Tem until that time. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the council meeting at <br />8:50 P.M. <br />~, <br />Florence E.
