Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption., second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-135 adopted. Miscellaneous business: Mr. Wilamosky asked if the administration would be prepared to give the committee some recommendations on Ordinance Nos. 86-126 and $6-127, Sus Line salaries, at the next Finance Committee meeting since this legislation was generated by the Bus Line Manager; would like some verification that the terms within these ordinances are in agreement with the administration, including Mr. Noble. Mr. Lackey discussed the Mayor's letter of December 10th with respect to water main cleaning for Lorain Road. It is his understanding that the city did clean the Lorain Road water line about two/three years ago. Since. it is being recommended again, did they not do a good job the first time or have some difficulties arisen there? Would like some information as to cost and what was accomplished the last time this was done; would have hoped that the previous cleaning would have lasted longer than this. Mayor Petrigac said she would be glad to provide the requested information; the entire area was not cleaned last time, nor was it relined; this time it will be relined. Mr. Wilamosky stated that the previous cost for cleaning of the line was about $65,000; the line is a 12 inch main and it was clogged at least 50~; test conditions now show that since it was not relined, there is additional buildup. Mr. Rademaker referred to the Senior Citizens Advisory Council letter of December 3rd and asked if legislation would be prepared in the near future to release the funds. to the Advisory Council as mentioned in the letter. Mr. Wilamosky stated he hoped that this money would be transferred this year; hopefully it will be discussed at the Special Council Meeting on December 29th. President Saringer advised the audience and the press that a Special Council Meeting has been called for Monday, December 29, 1986, at 8 P.M. . ,.,~;, ~., u
