Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as <br />referral to committee, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption., second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />86-135 adopted. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky asked if the administration would be prepared to give the <br />committee some recommendations on Ordinance Nos. 86-126 and $6-127, Sus Line <br />salaries, at the next Finance Committee meeting since this legislation was <br />generated by the Bus Line Manager; would like some verification that the terms <br />within these ordinances are in agreement with the administration, including <br />Mr. Noble. <br />Mr. Lackey discussed the Mayor's letter of December 10th with respect to water <br />main cleaning for Lorain Road. It is his understanding that the city did <br />clean the Lorain Road water line about two/three years ago. Since. it is being <br />recommended again, did they not do a good job the first time or have some <br />difficulties arisen there? Would like some information as to cost and what was <br />accomplished the last time this was done; would have hoped that the previous <br />cleaning would have lasted longer than this. Mayor Petrigac said she would be <br />glad to provide the requested information; the entire area was not cleaned last <br />time, nor was it relined; this time it will be relined. Mr. Wilamosky stated <br />that the previous cost for cleaning of the line was about $65,000; the line is <br />a 12 inch main and it was clogged at least 50~; test conditions now show that <br />since it was not relined, there is additional buildup. <br />Mr. Rademaker referred to the Senior Citizens Advisory Council letter of <br />December 3rd and asked if legislation would be prepared in the near future to <br />release the funds. to the Advisory Council as mentioned in the letter. Mr. <br />Wilamosky stated he hoped that this money would be transferred this year; <br />hopefully it will be discussed at the Special Council Meeting on December 29th. <br />President Saringer advised the audience and the press that a Special Council <br />Meeting has been called for Monday, December 29, 1986, at 8 P.M. <br />. ,.,~;, ~., u <br />
