Council Minutes of 12/16/86 _9- <br />,,~ President Saringer announced that six pieces of legislation, Nos. 86-130 <br />through 86-135, all dealing with appropriations, have been. added to the <br />agenda. Will be asking for suspension of rule requiring three readings <br />on Ordinance No. 86-135, appropriations from the Sewer Revenue Fund in <br />regard to the bond principal and interest due. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 86-116 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 86-116 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-117 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of <br />a water line for the purpose of circulating water service by the City of <br />Cleveland through land owned by Homelinks, Inc., and the Sunrise Development <br />Company, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Logan moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. McKay. Since there had been no committee report on this legislation, <br />Mr. Rademaker moved for .suspension of rule requiring referral to committee, <br />second by Mr. Lackey, unanimously approved. Mr. Logan moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-117 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-124 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City to provide for the <br />elimination of the traffic signal at the intersection of Butternut Ridge <br />Road and Old Columbia Road and further to provide for the installation of a <br />"stop" sign on the southwest corner of Butternut Ridge and Columbia Road to <br />control traffic travelling in an easterly direction on Butternut Ridge Road, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-125 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to extend the <br />existing agreement with BFI for a one (1) year period for refuse pickup <br />within the City, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-126 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to all hourly employees <br />employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-127 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to administrative and <br />supervisory personnel employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 86-128 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution adopting the North Olmsted Transportation Study Community Trans- <br />portation Plan prepared by the North Olmsted Transportation Study Team. <br />Resolution No. 86-129 introduced by the Mayor and the entire Council was given <br />its first reading. A resolution urging the Governor of the State of Ohio to <br />support, and the General Assembly to enact, legislation providing for the <br />distribution of sales tax revenue, for transit purposes,-on an equitable basis <br />to transit authorities located within a county that are less than county-wide <br />in area, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />
