Council Minutes of 11/5/86 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 86-94 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. A <br />resolution calling on Governor Richard F. Celeste to take all. necessary steps <br />to permanently close the Perry Nuclear Power Plant and the Davis-Besse Nuclear_ <br />Power Plant. Mr. McKay moved to table, second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on <br />motion: Affirmative vote: Lackey, O'Grady, Rademaker, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Negative vote: Logan. Abstained: McKay. 5 Aye - 1 Nay - 1 Abstention. <br />Resolution No. 86-94 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 86-95 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. A <br />resolution urging our State Legislature to enact a Bottle and Can Deposit Law <br />for the State of Ohio in order to help alleviate litter and. keep Ohio beautiful, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Logan, <br />unanimously approved. Resolution No. 86-95 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-96 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance. amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to <br />provide a "No Right Turn On Red" sign at the. intersection of Brookpark Road and <br />Lorain Road, thereby controlling traffic traveling in a westerly direction making <br />right turns at said intersection. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Lackey, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-96 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 86-89 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing West Shore Cable TV to sell their assets to a sub- <br />sidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 86-98 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 8 of Ordinance No. 86-36 titled, "An ordinance <br />establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel, and declaring an emergency, as amended", by providing for the in- <br />clusion. in said section of the position of a part time Building Inspector, not <br />to exceed twenty hours per week, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Resolution No. 86-99 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga <br />County General Health District for the year 1987, and declaring an urgency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-100 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to install a new traffic signalization system for Lorain Road <br />(SR 10), Brookpark Road (SR 17_), Columbia Road and Great Northern Boulevard <br />(SR 252), Dover Center Road (CR 58) and Clague Road (CR 52) in the City of <br />North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-101 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-101 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-102 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986, <br />as amended.
