<br />Special Council Minutes of 8/7/86 -4- <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 85-39 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance amending Chapter 549 of the General Offenses Code of the City of <br />North Olmsted, entitled, "Weapons and Explosives", by adding a new Section <br />549.14, entitled, "Sale, Possession and Use of Stun Guns", and declaring an <br />emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved to table Ordinance No. 85-39, second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-39 TABLED. <br />Ordinance No. 86-60 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 549.01 and enacting a new Section <br />549.12, of the Codified Ordinances, relative to possession and use of "Stun Guns", <br />and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, second by Mr. <br />Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-60 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-66 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, <br />which Zone Map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing <br />the premises hereinafter described from Single Residence A District to Mixed Use <br />A District. <br />Resolution No. 86-70 introduced by Mr. Lackey was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />new tires and tubes for use by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lackey moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings and referral to committee, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Lackey moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 86-70 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 86-71 introduced by Mr. Lackey was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,500 tons of road salt, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />claring an emergency.. Mr. Lackey moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Lackey moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 86-71 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 86-72 introduced by Mr. Lackey was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />1,000 tons of cinders, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Mr. Lackey moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Lackey moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 86-72 adopted. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of President Woerpel, Councilmen Rademaker <br />and Wilamosky, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Pro Tem <br />O'Grady adjourned the Special Council Meeting at 8:40 P.M. <br />Florence E.
