The difference between the two is that this
one does not flush the residue down the sewer; it vacuums it back up and it
is taken away in containers, thereby eliminating the danger of causing blockage
further along in the system. The city's .present vehicle has 6,000 miles on it
and this machine is capable of being mounted on this vehicle so the cost would
go down from $130,000 to about $60,000.
Mr. Tallon, Chairman Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee reported:
1) Will be amending Ordinance No. 86-29 to include the WE CARE Program and
the addition of a senior citizen's rate for use of the ice rink at the Rec Complex.
{..i1..'b`RgptM.S~ ~!(Vi~~C~•..a a~.r •. ~.~-»,xf-Y. `CJY~itN h~3k'-J.t.~'
