f <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLM5TED <br />MARCH 18, 19.86 <br />Present: President Dwayne Woerpel, Councilmen Lackey, McKay, O'Grady, <br />Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Meeting was called to order by President Woerpel at 8:05 P.M., in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Members of Council in reciting the <br />Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Minutes of the Council Meeting of March 4, 1986, were approved. <br />President Woerpel announced; 1) Ordinance No. 86-27, a transfer of funds from <br />the Endowment and Grant Fund to the Senior Center Fund in the amount of $7,880.69 <br />and Resolution No. 86-28, creating a Petty Cash Fund in the Division of Aging in <br />the amount of $200, are being added to tonight's agenda. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend the agenda in order to consider Resolutions No. <br />86-25 and 86-26 at this time, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 86-25 introduced by Mayor Petrigac on behalf of the mayor and <br />the entire council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the <br />public service of James D. Boehmer, President of Council, for the City of North <br />Olmsted. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings <br />and referral to committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 86-25 adopted. Mayor Petrigac read the resolution in its entirety; <br />Mr. Boehmer was recognized and congratulated by the audience and members of the <br />administration and council. <br />Resolution No. 86-26 introduced by Mayor Petrigac on behalf of the mayor and <br />the entire. council was given its first reading. A resolution. commending the <br />public service of Ernest J. Gundy, Building Commissioner of the City of North <br />Olmsted. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings <br />and referral to committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mrs. <br />Saringer moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 86-26 adopted. Mayor Petrigac read the resolution in its entirety; <br />Mr. Gundy was recognized and congratulated by the audience and members of the <br />administration and council. <br />Mayor Petrigac reported: 1) Expressed condolences to the Walker Family on the <br />death of Edward Walker who had been a Service Department employee as well as <br />to the Bahas Family on the death of Gus Bahas, former member of the Civil Service <br />Commission. <br />2) Met with Architect Mongello with regard to the renovation of the Community <br />Cabin. An additional fee has been added to drawings and specifications for fire <br />and burglar alarm systems. Cabin must be checked for asbestos; if found, will <br />have to be addressed in conjunction with the contract. Construction schedule <br />will be limited to four weeks from start to finish. <br />,..,. <br />
