.• .. • <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FEBRUARY 18, 1986 <br />Present: President Pro Tem Thomas O'Grady, Councilmen Lackey, McKay, <br />Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: President Woerpel, Councilman Rademaker. <br />Meeting was called to order by President Pro Tem O'Grady at 8:05 P.M., in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road. <br />Members of the audience were invited to loin Members of Council in reciting <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Minutes of the Council Meeting of February 4, 1986, were approved as amended: <br />Page Two, Law Director's report, "Federal Court" was amended to read "Common <br />Pleas". <br />President Pro Tem O'Grady reported: 1) President Woerpel's absence is due to <br />his being out of town; Councilman Rademaker's absence is due to illness. <br />2) Reminded Council, the Administration and the Press that a Public Hearing <br />will be held on Tuesday,.March 4th, at 7:00 P.M., relative to Ordinance Nos. <br />85-137, 86-0 and 86-3 -various Zoning Code changes. <br />Mayor Petrigac reported: 1) Will be introducing Ordinance No. 86-20, an ordin- <br />ance to make appropriations for current expenditures for year ending December <br />31, 1986. <br />2) Meeting was held with RTA Suburban Transit Audit Committee to review the <br />second draft proposal and to review the list of consultant's auditing firms. <br />Next meeting is scheduled for May 8th. <br />3) Meeting of all directors and department heads was held to discuss the Ohio <br />Deferred Compensation Plan; individual meetings~rS;ll be held in the coming few <br />months for all interested employees not presently enrolled. <br />3) Would remind Council of the meeting scheduled for Thursday, 7 P.M., in re- <br />gard to the Zimpro System at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. <br />4) Has written a letter of welcome to the 1985/86 Squirt State Hockey Tourna- <br />ment Association; tournament will be held March 6th through the 9th. <br />5) Fire Department has taken delivery of the new mini-van to be used by the <br />Fire Prevention Unit as well as for other duties in the department. <br />6) Senior citizens attended a supper club at Lakewood Hospital last Friday; <br />special thanks to Bill Miller who volunteered to drive the bus. <br />7) Hot Lunch Program last Thursday was a success; this was a thank-you luncheon <br />honoring van drivers, Ozzie and Aggie. <br />8) Introduced new Building Commissioner, Sam E. Spino, and Administrative Assistar <br />Bud Becker. <br />9) Asked council's confirmation of Mr. Robert Grace to serve on the Board of <br />Building Code of Appeals for a five year period. <br /> <br />
