.• .. • MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FEBRUARY 18, 1986 Present: President Pro Tem Thomas O'Grady, Councilmen Lackey, McKay, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. Absent: President Woerpel, Councilman Rademaker. Meeting was called to order by President Pro Tem O'Grady at 8:05 P.M., in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road. Members of the audience were invited to loin Members of Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Minutes of the Council Meeting of February 4, 1986, were approved as amended: Page Two, Law Director's report, "Federal Court" was amended to read "Common Pleas". President Pro Tem O'Grady reported: 1) President Woerpel's absence is due to his being out of town; Councilman Rademaker's absence is due to illness. 2) Reminded Council, the Administration and the Press that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday,.March 4th, at 7:00 P.M., relative to Ordinance Nos. 85-137, 86-0 and 86-3 -various Zoning Code changes. Mayor Petrigac reported: 1) Will be introducing Ordinance No. 86-20, an ordin- ance to make appropriations for current expenditures for year ending December 31, 1986. 2) Meeting was held with RTA Suburban Transit Audit Committee to review the second draft proposal and to review the list of consultant's auditing firms. Next meeting is scheduled for May 8th. 3) Meeting of all directors and department heads was held to discuss the Ohio Deferred Compensation Plan; individual meetings~rS;ll be held in the coming few months for all interested employees not presently enrolled. 3) Would remind Council of the meeting scheduled for Thursday, 7 P.M., in re- gard to the Zimpro System at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. 4) Has written a letter of welcome to the 1985/86 Squirt State Hockey Tourna- ment Association; tournament will be held March 6th through the 9th. 5) Fire Department has taken delivery of the new mini-van to be used by the Fire Prevention Unit as well as for other duties in the department. 6) Senior citizens attended a supper club at Lakewood Hospital last Friday; special thanks to Bill Miller who volunteered to drive the bus. 7) Hot Lunch Program last Thursday was a success; this was a thank-you luncheon honoring van drivers, Ozzie and Aggie. 8) Introduced new Building Commissioner, Sam E. Spino, and Administrative Assistar Bud Becker. 9) Asked council's confirmation of Mr. Robert Grace to serve on the Board of Building Code of Appeals for a five year period.
