4 0 Council Minutes of 2/4/86 -6- LEGISLATION (cont'd): Ordinance No. 86-15 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An ordinance authorizing the sale of surplus personal property owned by the City of North Olmsted and previously used by the Department of Public Services, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. Resolution No. 86-16 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. A resolution supporting the continuance of the Revenue Sharing Program by the Government of the United States of America and the Municipal Corporation of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency, Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 86-16 adopted. Ordinance No. 86-17 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted to establish a No Parking zone at the intersection of Shelley Drive and Defoe Drive, which will encompass the residences number 3946 and 3934 Shelley Drive and 26132 and 26122 Defoe Drive, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-17 adopted. Miscellaneous business: President Woerpel thanked Mayor Petrigac for setting up tonight's meeting with representatives from McDonald and Company to discuss changes in revenue sharing. President Woerpel referred to the November minutes of Board of Building Code Appeals at which time Mr. Puzzietello had suggested changing the ordinance regarding earth stations to keep up with rapidly growing technology, especially in differentiating residential from commercial dishes; requested Mrs. Saringer to discuss this in the BZD Committee to see if something ought to be done. Mayor Petrigac reminded everyone that the van is now located at the Senior Center and all contact should be made there. President Woerpel advised that Public Hearings on Ordinance Nos. 85-137, 86-0 and 86-3 would be held at the first council meeting in March, the 4th. President Woerpel also noted that February has been designated "National Community College Month". President Woerpel requested that Chairman Lackey look at the charter requirements with respect to run-off elections in view of the situation this past Fall. Per- haps the Legislation Committee could make some recommendation to Council with respect to cost, modifications or repeal, etc. Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Wilamosky, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. The agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before council, President Woerpel adjourned the meeting at 9:00 P.M. Florence E.
