Council Minutes of 12/15/87 _5_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />~-, equipping of a commercial facility constituting a commercial 'Project' within the <br />`fir' meaning of Chapter 165, Ohio Revised Code, and authorizing the execution, delivery <br />and performance of a loan agreement and related documents pertaining to the project <br />and of a trust indenture securing the payment of the bonds, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-135 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87--136 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances en- <br />titled "Permit and Inspection Fees", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 87-137 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, un- <br />animously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, un- <br />animously approved. Ordinance No. 87-137 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-138 introduced by Mr. Wilamooky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, un- <br />animously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, un- <br />animously approved. Ordinance No. 87-138 adopted. <br />President Saringer asked that Chairman Bohlmann be notified that Ordinance No. <br />87-134 was being placed in the Legislative Committee and requested that he also <br />discuss the charge for cleaning of the cabin. after being used by residents in the <br />senior groups. The charge is part of the present ordinance but has never been <br />enforced; if it is not being enforced, perhaps it should be eliminated. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky thanked council for its indulgence with respect to his lengthy <br />Finance Committee report. Also, thanked the Mayor and the administration for <br />submitting a line item appropriation for the 1988 temporary budget; it saved the <br />Finance Committee an awful lot of work. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved Council approve the Mayor's appointments of Bob Gomersall and <br />Ron Bugala to serve on the Board of honing Appeals for the period beginning <br />January 1, 1988, through December 31, 1992, second by Mr. Lackey, unanimously <br />approved. <br />Mayor Petrigac discussed some of the other appointments she will be making: <br />Joseph Britton to the Planning Commission; reappointment of Pattison to ARB; <br />appointment of Thomas Restifo to ARB; Frank O'De11's reappointment to the <br />Department of Human Resources Advisory Board, <br />President Saringer invited the administration and the audience to the swearing- <br />in ceremonies for the newly elected councilmen-at-large, on Sunday, December 27th, <br />at 2 P.M., here in council chambers; refreshments will. be served. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Bohlmann, second by <br />Mr. Lackey, unanimously approved. <br />«~ -~~~~.~r,.~.~,~... - , - <br />
