Council Minutes of 9/1/87 -6- <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. Bohlmann scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for Tuesday, September 8th <br />at 8 P.M. and requested Chairman Kazak and Members of the Board of Building Code <br />of Appeals to be in attendance as well as Building Commissioner Conway. <br />Mr. Bohlmann moved council authorize Law Director Gareau to proceed with an in- <br />vestigation into the possibility of a law suit against Metro Parks for creating <br />and maintaining a nuisance in regard to mosquitos, second by Mr. Wilamosky, <br />unanimously approved. <br />President Saringer stated that if Council wished, she would contact Mr. Tsipis, <br />Director of the Metro Park Board, and arrange for a meeting to discuss the <br />mosquito problem and what action could be taken. <br />President Saringer reported she had received some calls with respect to the <br />numerous trucks on Clague Road since 1480 has been extended. Asked Safety <br />Director Becker to have the police monitor this area more closely and possibly <br />coordinate with the Westlake Police Department in issuing some citations. <br />Mr. Lackey agreed that there have also been complaints of trucks cutting across <br />Alexander and West 229th to Lorain Road to avoid the Clague Road/Lorain Road <br />interchange. Mr. McKay also cited Mastick Road being used in order to eliminate <br />traveling Great Northern. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Councilman O'Grady, second by Mr. Bohlmann, <br />unanimously approved. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Saringer <br />adjourned the council meeting at 10:30 P.M. <br />lorence E.
