Council Minutes of 9/1/87 <br />-5 - <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance no. 87-85 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1367 of the Codified Ordinances <br />entitled "Regulation of Dish-Type Satellite Signal-Receiving Earth Stations". <br />Referred to Legislation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-86 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to construct an eight (8) foot wide asphalt bikeway from Columbia <br />Road (SR 252) to Ruple Road in North Olmsted, Brook Park and the Cleveland Metro- <br />politan Park District, a distance of 0.83 miles more or less. Referred to <br />Long Range Planning Committee. <br />Resolution No. 87-87 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for fuel <br />and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olsted and North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-88 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance approving and accepting a collective bargaining agreement with Ohio <br />Council 8 and Local No. 2681 of American Federation of State, County and Munici- <br />pa1 Employees covering Service and Wastewater Treatment Employees and directing <br />the Mayor to enter into said agreement, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. $7-88 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-89 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the. year ending December 31, 1987. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as <br />referral to committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />87-89 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-90 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-90 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-9I introduced by Mr. Rademaker was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted <br />of a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted permitting the <br />Mayor to serve as a member or official of any organization of governments or <br />governmental officials or special unit of government and to permit the Mayor to <br />serve as a member or official in any non-profit corporation to represent the City, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Rademaker moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Bohlmann. Roll <br />call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bohlmann, Lackey, McKay, Rademaker, Tallon. <br />Negative vote: Wilamosky. 5 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Mr. Rademaker moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-91 <br />adopted. <br />
