y <br />Special Council Minutes of 8/14/87 -3- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 87-78 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for the roof .replacement and building rehabilitation of North Olmsted Old <br />Town Hall, as detailed in the Roof Replacement and Building Rehabilitation Specifi- <br />cations on file,. and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 87-78 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-79 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to amend Sections 1501.0101, 1501.0501, 1501.0502, 1501.1302 and 1501.2101 <br />of the Codif ied Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, in order to increase <br />the municipal income tax rate from one percent to one and one-half percent, and de- <br />claring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 87-80 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution declaring the necessity of an election on the question of approving the <br />passage of an ordinance to amend Sections 1501.0101, 1501.0501, 1501.0502, 1501.1302 <br />and 1501.2101 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, in <br />order to increase the municipal income tax rate from one percent to one and one-half <br />percent, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 87-81 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 1501.1901 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio,. in order to provide for a seventy-five percent municipal <br />income tax credit with a credit limit of seventy-five percent of one percent of <br />taxable income, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Rademaker, second by Mr. Lackey, <br />unanimously approved. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Saringer <br />adjourned the Special Council Meeting at 8:40 P.M. <br />Florence E.
