Council Minutes of 3/1.7/8.7 -5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />'`*` Ordinance No. 87-13 introduced by Mr, Talton was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expnditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Talton moved <br />for adoption,. second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-13 adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend Resolution No. 87-15 by adding the words "up to" 500 <br />cubic yards of concrete in the title as well as in Section 1 of the resolution, <br />second by Mr. Talton, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 87-15 introduced by Mr. Talton was given its second reading, as amended. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for up <br />to 500 cubic yards of concrete for Service Department road repair needs and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Talton, unani- <br />mously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Talton, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 87-15 adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend Resolution No. 87-16 by adding the words "up to" 2,000 <br />tons of stone in the title as well as in Section 1 of the resolution; to amend <br />Resolution No, 87-17 by adding the words "up to" 5,000 tons of ashpahlt and tack <br />coating in the title as well as in Section l of the resolution, second by Mr. Logan, <br />unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 87-16 introduced by Mr. Talton was given its second reading, as amended. <br />A resolution authorizing. the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for up to <br />2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings on. Resolution No. 87-16 and Resolution No. <br />87-17, second by Mr. Talton, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption <br />of Resolution No. 87-16, second by Mr. Talton, unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />87-16 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-17 introduced by Mr. Talton was given its second reading, as amended. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for up to <br />5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Mr. Talton moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 87-17 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-19 introduced by Mr. Talton was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance establishing a second law clerk position within the Organizational Chart of the <br />Department of Law for the City of North Olmated, amending Section 137.01 of the <br />Codif ied Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Talton moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance <br />No. 87-19 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-22 introduced. by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. A <br />resolution declaring the City of North Olmsted's intent to participate in Bi- <br />cenntenial Celebrations of the Northwest Ordinance and the United States Constitution. <br />Ordinance No. 87-23 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Police Department to purchase a VARDA Unit to be used for <br />surveillance by the Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />1 <br />
