Council Minutes of 2/17/87 <br />-5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 87-13 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-14 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Tallon moved <br />for suspension of rules requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, <br />second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-14 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-15 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for 500 cubic <br />yards of concrete for Service Department road repair needs and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee <br />Resolution No. 87-16 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 87-17 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 87-18 introduced by Mr. Lackey was given its first reading. A <br />resolution of support for Cuyahoga County Public Library System. Mr. Lackey <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Mr. Lackey moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 87-18 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-19 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a second law clerk position within the Organizational Chart <br />of the Department of Law for the City of North Olmsted, amending Section 137.01 <br />of the Cod if ied Ordinances of the City. of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. Referred to joint Legislative and Finance Committees. <br />Ordinance No. 87-20 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the City of <br />North Olmsted, a fund known as the Facility Plan Step IV Fund, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings <br />as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved.
