Council Minutes of .];/20/8.7 -4- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 86-127 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to administrative and <br />supervisory personnel employed by the North Olmsted Municigal Bus Line, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by.Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-127 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 86-128 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution adopting the North Olmsted Transportation Study Community Trans- <br />portation Plan prepared by the North Olmsted Transportation Study Team. <br />Mr. Rademaker moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady. Mr. Wilamosky stated <br />that while he is not judging the wisdom of the Study Team Panel, he feels this <br />legislation may inhibit the city's ability to deliver services such as street <br />repair because of revenue committments to build more roads, with the emphasis <br />to bring more cars in and out of the city and to move more cars within the <br />community; it is important to maintain stability within the residential sector <br />of the community; does not personally agree with every recommendation in the <br />Study Team's proposal. President Saringer, Councilmen Lackey, O'Grady, McKay, <br />Tallon, Rademaker, Finance Director Boyle and Law Director Gareau spoke in <br />support of the legislation. Roll call on motion to adopt Resolution No. 86-128: <br />Affirmative vote: Lackey, Logan, McKay, O'Grady, Rademaker, Tallon. Negative <br />vote: Wilamosky. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Resolution No. 86-128 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 86-129 introduced by the Mayor and the entire Council was given <br />its third reading. A resolution urging the Governor of the State of Ohio to <br />support, and the General Assembly to enact, legislation providing for the dis- <br />tribution of sales tax revenue, for transit purposes, on an equitable basis to <br />transit authorities located withina county that are less than county-wide in area, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Rademaker moved for adoption, second by Mr. <br />Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 86-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-2 introduced by Mayor Petrigac and Councilman Wilamosky was <br />given its first reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current ex- <br />penses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending <br />December 31, 1987. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-3 introduced by Mr. Rademaker was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. A <br />resolution declaring the intent of the council of the City of North Olmsted to <br />accept for dedication certain streets within Pebblebrook Subdivision, and de- <br />claring an emergency. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement from Ronald Wagner for storm sewers located in <br />Lorain Road, Permanent Parcel Numbers 234-10-51 and 234-10-52, with in the City <br />of North Olmsted. Referred to Streets and Drainage Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-6 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to participate in <br />contracts of the State of Ohio, Department of Administrative Services, Off ice <br />of State Purchasing, for the purchase of supplies, services, equipment and <br />certain materials, pursuant to Revised Code, Section 125.04, and declaring an <br />emergency.
