f <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />NOVEMBER 15, 1988 <br />Present: Fresident Janet Saringer, Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen Boehmer, <br />Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Meeting was called to order by President Saringer at 8:15 P.M., in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Members of Council in reciting the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag which was led by Scout Leaders Paul Black, <br />John Hatfield, Dave Dillon and Bill Livingston, Eagle Scout Steve Smith and <br />members of Boy Scout Troop 664. <br />Minutes of the Council Meeting of November 1, 1988, will be approved at the <br />next council meeting; due to Clerk's illness, the minutes were just distributed <br />to council members this evening. <br />President Saringer reported: 1) Ordinance No. 88-112, a proposal to increase fence <br />heights to six feet, has been removed from tonight's agenda and will be placed <br />back into BZD Committee. <br />2) Public Hearing was held this evening at 7:00 P.M., with respect to Ordinance <br />No. 88-112 and Ordinance No. 88-118. <br />3) Suspension of rule requiring three readings will be requested for Ordinance <br />Nos. 88-126, 88-127, 88-129 and 88-130. <br />4) Agenda this evening has been amended to allow Council to consider Resolution <br />No. 88-125 as the first order of business. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 88-125 introduced by Mr. Tallon on behalf of the Mayor and the en- <br />tire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the achieve- <br />ment of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting by Steve Smith. Mr. Tallon moved <br />for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 88-125 adopted. <br />President Saringer read Resolution No. 88-125 in its entirety and presented a <br />copy of the legislation to Eagle Scout Steve Smith who was recognized by the <br />members of Troop 664, members of the audience and administration as well as <br />members of council. <br /> <br /> <br />
