<br />Council Minutes of 10/4/88 -9- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 88-108 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for up to <br />500 cubic yards of concrete for Service Department road repair needs, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 88-109 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for 2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Resolution No. 88-110 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids up <br />to 5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Resolution No. 88-111 introduced by Mayor Petrigac on behalf of the Mayor and <br />the entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution opposing the <br />United States Environmental Protection Ageney's order to have local municipali- <br />ties underwrite the cost of the methane gas collection and/or venting system <br />at Rockside Hideaway Sanitary Landfill, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Mr. O'Grady moved for <br />adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 88-111 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-112 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1135.02 of the Zoning Code, entitled "Accessory <br />Uses and Buildings" of Chapter 1135 of the Zoning Code,. entitled, "Residence <br />Districts". Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-113 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved f.or suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 88-113 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 88-114 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for 2,500 tons of road salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and <br />declaring an emergency.
