<br />Council MInutes of 9/20/88 _4_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 88-95 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and .other expenditures <br />for the .City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. <br />Ordinance No. 88-97 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the City of <br />Westlake for the joint cooperation in paving Maple Ridge Road, between Walter <br />Road and Columbia Road, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 88-97 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-99 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1.988. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved to table Ordinance No. 88-99, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 88-99 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 88-100 introduced by Mr, Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. prdinance No. 88-100 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-101 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-102 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given .its first reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and .other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted far the year ending December 31, 1988. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-103 introduced by Mr, Tallon. was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Law for and on .behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted to approve and sign a final judgment entry in .the. case of Developers <br />Diversified, et al v. the City of North Olmsted, et al, in .the Court of Common <br />Pleas, Cuyahoga County, Case No. 127076, and declaring an emergency. Referred to <br />Building, Zoning and Development Committee. <br />Resolution No. 88-104 introduced by Mrs. Bahas was given its first reading. A <br />resolution of the City Council expressing the Council's intent and policy to re- <br />frain from issuing or establishing a new tax for the purpose of constructing the <br />Bassett/Stearns Extension in the event the same is passed by the electorate and <br />the issue that is on the ballot on November 8, 1988, and declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to joint Finance and Legislation Committees. <br />Resolution No. 88-105. introduced by Mr. Boehmer on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution to mobilize American <br />public opinion relative to the 1,767 persons still listed as Prisoners of War <br />(POW's) and/or Missing In Action (MIA's) of the Vietnam War, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Boehmer moved for suspension of rule requiring .three readings <br />as well as referral to committee,. second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 88-105 adopted. <br />_~~~« <br />
