MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />MAY 17, 1988 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilmen Boehmer, McKay, O'Grady, <br />Tallon. <br />Also present: Finance Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen Bohlmann, Wilamosky. <br />Public Hearing was called to order by President Saringer at 7:10 P.M. <br />President Saringer announced that Ordinance No. 8$-34, an ordinance amending <br />Section 1139.08 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled, "Access Located <br />Within District"; Ordinance No. 88-36, an ordinance creating a new Paragraph <br />(C) to Section 1139.04 of the Zoning Code, entitled, "Setback", and also pro- <br />viding for thirty-five foot setback areas in retail business districts when <br />certain conditions are met; and Ordinance No. 88-37, an ordinance creating a <br />new Section 1161.081, amending Section 1161,09(A), and creating new Paragraph <br />(F) of Section 1161.12 of the Zoning Code, all of which concern granting to <br />the Planning Commission authority to vary the Zoning Code requirements for <br />parking, access drives and loading facilities, under certain specified con- <br />ditions, were now open for discussion. There was no audience participation. <br />President Saringer suggested that Ordinance No. 88-37, on second reading this <br />evening, be held for input from the City Planner. Council Members concurred <br />with this suggestion; Ordinance No. 88-37 will not go on for third reading <br />until Mr. Tallon, Chairman of the Building, Zoning and Development Committee, <br />advises the Clerk of Council to place it on a future agenda. <br />There being no further discussion, President Saringer adjourned the Public <br />Hearing at 7:15 P.M. <br />lorence E.
