Council Minutes of 5/4/88 <br />-6- <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />President Saringer reminded everyone of the Public Hearing to be held next Tuesday, <br />May 17th at 7 P.M., with respect to Ordinance Nos. 88-34, 88-36 and 88-37. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Committee for Tuesday, May 10th at 8 P.M., and <br />requested the attendance of Mayor, Service Director, Safety Director and Chief <br />VanKuren to discuss fire hydrant maintenance and repair. <br />Mr. Bohlmann scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for Wednesday, May 11th, at <br />8 P.M., to interview Mr. Thomas Gallagher, candidate for appointment tp the ARB. <br />Mr. Wilamosky asked Law Director Gareau what the current status is with respect <br />to the contempt of court hearing relative to Nightfall. Law Director advised <br />the judge had granted a stay in order for them to establish a bond; because the <br />property owner failed to file a brief in assignments of error, the appeal has <br />been dismissed, which means there is no need for a hearing for bond; the appeal is <br />gone. Law Director will now actively pursue a hearing on the contempt of court <br />issue. <br />Mr. Boehmer scheduled a joint Safety and Transportation Committee meeting for <br />Wednesday, May 11th, at 7:30 P.M., to discuss Ordinance Nos. 88-54 and 88-55, <br />traffic signalization, as well as Resolution No. 88-56 covering the PASSPORT <br />Program. Requested the attendance of Safety Director Becker, Captain Krynak, <br />and City Enginner Boyer. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mr. O'Grady, second by Mr. Bohlmann, <br />unanimously approved. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Saringer <br />adjourned the council meeting at 10:05 P.M. <br />orence E.
