Council Minutes of 4/5/88 <br />-5 - <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 88-37 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 1161.081, amending Section 1161.09 (A) and <br />creating new Paragraph (F) of Section 1161.12 of the Zoning Code, all of which <br />concern granting to the Planning Commission. authority to vary the Zoning Code <br />requirements for parking, access drives and loading facilities, under certain <br />specified conditions. <br />Resolution No. 88-38 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for one (1) asphalt reclaimer unit for the North Olmsted Service Department, <br />and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. There was no audience participation. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 88-38 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 88-39 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for two (2) inserted hopper-type salt spreaders for the North Olmsted Service <br />Department, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. There was no audience participation. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 88-39 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-40 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 87-11 which provided for "No Right Turn On <br />Red" for traffic travelling in a westerly direction on Brookpark Road, where <br />the same intersects with Clague Road. In anticipation of new legislation he <br />will be introducing at the next Council Meeting, Mr. O'Grady moved to table <br />Ordinance No. 88-40, second by Mr. Wilamosky. Roll call on motion: Affirmative <br />vote: Bohlmann, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Babas, Boehmer, McKay. <br />4 Aye - 3 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 88-40 Tabled. <br />Ordinance No, 88-41 introduced by Mayor Petrigac and Mr. McKay was given its <br />first reading. An ordinance vacating a portion of Canterbury Road, which is more <br />fully described on the vacation plat, which is made a part of this ordinance, <br />and declaring an emergency. Referred to Streets and Drainage Committee. <br />Ordinance No, 88-42 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 88-43 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution in recognition of Fair Housing Month and the Twentieth Anniversary <br />of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 and Title VIII therein, Apxil, 1988, and declar- <br />ing an emergency. Mr. Bohlmann moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings as well as ref erral to committee, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously <br />approved. There was no audience participation. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, <br />second by Mrs. Babas, unanimously approved. Resolution No, 88-43 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-44 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform <br />part-time personnel of the Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to Finance Committee. <br /> <br />
