Council Minutes of 3/15/88 _4_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 88-30 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance granting the extinguishment and release of a utility easement granted <br />to the City of North Olmsted and recorded in Volumbe 238, Page 65, of Cuyahoga <br />County Plat Record, and to further accept a new easement in place thereof, for <br />the installation and maintenance of sewers for the purpose of supplying sewer <br />service to Hastings Drive properties. <br />Ordinance No. 88-31 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Westshore <br />Council of Governments to provide for a Hazardous Materials Response Team, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-33 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1331 of the Codif ied Ordinances en- <br />titled, "Dangerous Or Unsafe Buildings", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-34 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1139.08 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled, <br />"Access Located Within District". Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-35 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a Casualty Loss Reserve Fund for the purpose of maintaining <br />an account from which to draw, in the event the City either sustains a casualty loss <br />or has a claim filed against the City wherein the City is obligated to absorb a loss <br />due to the deductible in the City's Insurance Program, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-36 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance creating a new Paragraph (C) to Section 1139.04 of the Zoning Code <br />entitled, "Setback", and also providing for thirty-five foot setback area in <br />Retail Business Districts when certain conditions are met. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-37 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 1161.081, amending Section 1161.09(A), and creating <br />new Paragraph (F) of Section 1161.12 of the Zoning Code, all of which concern <br />granting to the Planning Commission authority to vary the Zoning Code requirements <br />for parking, access drives and loading facilities, under certain spec if ied con- <br />ditions. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />President Saringer scheduled a Council-of-the-Whole Committee Meeting for Monday, <br />March 21st, at 8:30 P.M., to discuss Olmsted Township sewer rates. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for Tuesday, March 22nd, <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a joint Streets and Drainage Committee and BZD Committee Meeting <br />for Monday at 7:00 P.M. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Transportation Committee Meeting for 7 P.M, on Thursday, <br />March 24th to discuss Ordinance No. 88-28 and requested the attendance of Service <br />Director Noble. <br />Mr. Bohlmann scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for Wednesday, March <br />23rd at 7:30 P.M, to discuss legislation No. 88-33 and requested Building <br />Commissioner Conway to be in attendance. <br /> <br />
