Council Minutes of 2/16/88 <br />-5 - <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 88-9 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance adopting anew and revised Section 1309.01, 1309..04 and 1309.05 of the <br />Building Code dealing with the updating and adopting of the current National <br />Electrical Code. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Babas, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 88-9 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-10 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Traff -Pro Consultants, <br />Inc., for the purpose of preparing a Traffic Signal Study, of five intersections within <br />the City in conjunction with and under the conditions of a grant from the Ohio <br />Department of Highway Safety, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-10 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-11 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-11 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-14 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a Drug Enforcement Trust Fund pursuant to Ohio Revised Code <br />Section 2925.03 (J) and (K), and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-15 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given-its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication the 7515 Company Subdivision No. 2 which in- <br />cludes Tara-Lynn Drive, in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 88-21 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its first reading. A <br />resolution objecting to certain provisions of Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code detailing the State Collective Bargaining Law, spec if ically Chapter 4117.14(C)6 <br />requiring. the City Council to reject the recommendations of a Fact Finder within only <br />seven (7) days, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-22 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for the current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-23 introduced by Councilman Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988, as amended. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as <br />referral to committee, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. President <br />Beringer asked if anyone in the audience would like to address Ordinance No. 88-23; <br />there was no audience participation. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-23 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-24 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1361 of the Codif ied Ordinances <br />entitled, "Flood Damage Prevention". <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Commitee Meeting for February 22nd; would like to <br />discuss Ordinance No. 88-17 with Service Director Noble or his representative; <br />will then review the Mayor's recommendations on the 1988 appropriations; all members <br />of council and the administration are welcome to be in attendance. <br /> <br />
