Council Minutes of 11/21/89 -6-~ LEGISLATION (cont'd): Ordinance No. 89-94 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance approving and accepting a collective bargaining agreement with the North Olmsted Transit Employees Association, covering full-time, hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line and directing the Mayor to enter into said agreement, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-94 adopted. Ordinance No. 89-95 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part- time, hourly employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-95 adopted. Ordinance No. 89-96 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance establishing the compensation, benef its and working conditions for salaried employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, who are not members of the North Olmsted Transit Employees Association, collective bargaining unit, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. Miscellaneous business: Mr. McKay scheduled a Streets and Drainage Committee Meeting for Wednesday, November 29th, at 7 P.M., and requested Service Director Noble to be in attendance. Mr. Bohlmann scheduled a joint Recreation and Finance Committee Meeting for November 29th at 8 P.M., and requested the Mayor, Finance Director, Recreation Director as well as Chairman and Vice Chairman. of the Recreation Commission to attend. Mayor Petrigac stated she would be unable to attend. Mr. Wilamosky asked Director Noble be in attendance as well in order to discuss Ordinance No. 89-96. Mr. Wilamosky asked the Mayor where the engineering study on the city-wide signal- ization stood at this time; Mayor will forward a response tomorrow. Mr. Bohlmann pointed out that the Legislative Committee would be looking at the Rules of Council again and would appreciate input from everyone; hopes to meet to review them the first or second week in December. President Saringer suggested that audience participation be allowed before passage of items brought to council through the BZD Committee, which emanated from the Building Department. President Saringer wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and noted that the council's Christmas Party this year would be hosted by Marge and Dean McKay on December 19th.
