i Council Minutes of 8/15/89 -5- LEGISLATION: Resolution No. 89-51 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for one (1) truck paint spray booth for the North Olmsted Service Department, and authorizing .the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-51 adopted. Resolution No. 89-56 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for one (1) roll-off (dead lift) 50,000 pound frame container rails for the sludge hauling truck at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 89-68 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Section 371.06 (c) and (d) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Use of Highway for Soliciting; Riding on Outside of Vehicles" of Chapter 371 entitled, "Pedestrians". Mr. Boehmer. moved for sus- pension of rule requiring three readings .and referral to committee, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Mr. Boehmer moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-68 adopted. Ordinance No. 89-69 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An ordinance amending Sections 721.01 (c), 721.06, and 721.10 of the Business Regu- lations Code of the City of North Olmsted. Referred to BZD Committee. Ordinance No. 89-70 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance accepting for dedication the Tallwood Estates Subdivision which in- cludes Tallwood Drive, Ivy Court and Tallwood Court in the City of North Olmsted. Referred to BZD Committee. Ordinance No. 89-71 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Referred to Finance Committee. Ordinance No. 89-72 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given. its first reading. An ordinance covering the repair and resurfacing of Butternut Ridge Road (CR-93) from Lorain Road to Columbia Road in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-72 adopted. Ordinance No. 89-73 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance approving and accepting the collective bargaining agreement with Ohio Council 8 and Local No. 2681 of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, covering Service and Wastewater Treatment Employees and directing the Mayor to enter into said agreement, and declaring an emergency.
