i <br />Council Minutes of 8/15/89 -5- <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 89-51 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for one (1) truck paint spray booth for the North Olmsted Service Department, <br />and authorizing .the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 89-51 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 89-56 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for one (1) <br />roll-off (dead lift) 50,000 pound frame container rails for the sludge hauling <br />truck at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and authorizing the Mayor to contract <br />for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 89-68 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 371.06 (c) and (d) of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted entitled, "Use of Highway for Soliciting; Riding on Outside <br />of Vehicles" of Chapter 371 entitled, "Pedestrians". Mr. Boehmer. moved for sus- <br />pension of rule requiring three readings .and referral to committee, second by <br />Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Mr. Boehmer moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-68 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-69 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Sections 721.01 (c), 721.06, and 721.10 of the Business Regu- <br />lations Code of the City of North Olmsted. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-70 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance accepting for dedication the Tallwood Estates Subdivision which in- <br />cludes Tallwood Drive, Ivy Court and Tallwood Court in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-71 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-72 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given. its first reading. <br />An ordinance covering the repair and resurfacing of Butternut Ridge Road (CR-93) <br />from Lorain Road to Columbia Road in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. McKay moved <br />for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-72 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-73 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance approving and accepting the collective bargaining agreement with <br />Ohio Council 8 and Local No. 2681 of American Federation of State, County and <br />Municipal Employees, covering Service and Wastewater Treatment Employees and <br />directing the Mayor to enter into said agreement, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as <br />referral to committee, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />89-73 adopted. <br />0 <br />
