.. . <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE .COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 18, 1989 <br />Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen <br />Boehmer, Bohlmann,-McKay, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Finance Director Edward Boyle, <br />Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilman O'Grady. <br />The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of North .Olmsted was called to <br />order by President Saringer at 7:10 P.M., in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center <br />Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Mr. Bohlmann moved to amend the agenda to allow for "miscellaneous business", <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 89-65 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, .second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 89-65 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-66 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transf er appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 89-66 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-67 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first rending. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of-North Ohusted to enter <br />into an agreement with van Dijk, Johnson and Partners to provide .architectural and <br />engineering services for the renovation of the Recreation Center Complex, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Mr. Bohlmann moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 89-67 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-68 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 371.06 (c) and (d) of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted entitled, "Use Of Highway For Soliciting; Riding On Outside <br />Of Vehicles" of Chapter 371 entitled, "Pedestrians".
