~, , MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JULY 5, 1989 Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen Boehmer, Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky, Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. Meeting was called to order by .President Saringer at 8:00 P.M „ in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted. President Saringer invited members of the audience to fain council in .the Pledge of Allegiane to the Flag led by Eagle Scouts David and Michael Gareau of Troop 761. Minutes of the Council Meeting of June 20, 1989, were approved. President Saringer announced: 1) Resolution No. 89-48 has been removed from tonight's agenda and returned to committee. 2) Suspension of the rule requiring three readings will be requested on Resolution Nos. 89-55, 89-57 and 89-58, as well as on Ordinance Nos. 89-59 and 89-63. 3) Ordinance No. 89-64 has been added to this evening`s agenda and will also be added to the agenda for the special council meeting tomorrow evening. LEGISLATION: Resolution No. 89-57 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of .the Mayor and .the entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the achievements by David M. Gareau of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule requiring .three readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved, Resolution No. 89-57 adopted and read in its entirety by President Saringer. Eagle Scout David M. Gareau was then recognized and congratulated by members of council and the administration. Resolution No. 89-58 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of the Mayor and the entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the achievements by Michael R. Gareau, Jr. of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting, Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule requiring three. readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-58 adopted and read in its entirety by President Saringer, Eagle Scout Michael R. Gareau, Jr. was then recognized and congratulated by members of council and the administration. Mayor Petrigac reported: 1) East Ohio Gas Company representative did an energy audit as well as a rate analysis for the city and the findings were forwarded to Finance Director Boyle. ~~ ~~
