~, <br />, <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 5, 1989 <br />Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen <br />Boehmer, Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky, <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Meeting was called to order by .President Saringer at 8:00 P.M „ in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted. <br />President Saringer invited members of the audience to fain council in .the <br />Pledge of Allegiane to the Flag led by Eagle Scouts David and Michael Gareau <br />of Troop 761. <br />Minutes of the Council Meeting of June 20, 1989, were approved. <br />President Saringer announced: 1) Resolution No. 89-48 has been removed from <br />tonight's agenda and returned to committee. <br />2) Suspension of the rule requiring three readings will be requested on <br />Resolution Nos. 89-55, 89-57 and 89-58, as well as on Ordinance Nos. 89-59 <br />and 89-63. <br />3) Ordinance No. 89-64 has been added to this evening`s agenda and will also <br />be added to the agenda for the special council meeting tomorrow evening. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 89-57 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of .the Mayor and .the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the <br />achievements by David M. Gareau of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. <br />Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule requiring .three readings and referral <br />to committee, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mr. McKay moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved, Resolution No. <br />89-57 adopted and read in its entirety by President Saringer. Eagle Scout <br />David M. Gareau was then recognized and congratulated by members of council <br />and the administration. <br />Resolution No. 89-58 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the <br />achievements by Michael R. Gareau, Jr. of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting, <br />Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule requiring three. readings and referral <br />to committee, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Mr. McKay moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />89-58 adopted and read in its entirety by President Saringer, Eagle Scout <br />Michael R. Gareau, Jr. was then recognized and congratulated by members of <br />council and the administration. <br />Mayor Petrigac reported: 1) East Ohio Gas Company representative did an energy <br />audit as well as a rate analysis for the city and the findings were forwarded <br />to Finance Director Boyle. <br />~~ ~~ <br />
