MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING
JULY 5, 1989
7:00 P.M.
Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen
Boehmer, Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky.
Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Finance Director Edward Boyle,
Clerk of Council Florence Campbell.
Public Hearing was called to order by President Saringer at 7:10 P.M.
President Saringer announced that the Public Hearing would cover Resolution
No. 89-50, a resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for
the Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 1990, and submitting the same to the
County Auditor, and declaring an emergency.
President Saringer asked if anyone present wished to speak to Resolution
No. 89-50. There was no audience participation.
Councilman Wilamosky stated that the importance of this document is how the
dollars generated from revenues are appropriated. Total revenues for 1989
are an anticipated $9,133,000; total revenues for 1990 are anticipated at
$9,553,000; it is pretty much cut and dried and is basically just a kind of
assessment for the County as to where the funds will be spent. The real
tool the council and the administration has in the distribution of funds
is in the appropriation ordinances.
There being no further discussion, President Saringer adjourned the Public
Hearing at 7:15 P.M.
~ ,~ ~.
orence E.
