Council Minutes of 6/20/89 _5_ <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 89-6 introduced by Councilmen McKay and Bohlmann was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of North Olmsted to collect proposals from engineering firms for the purpose of <br />providing the city with estimates of cost for the preparation of a comprehensive <br />ordinance dealing with the establishment and imposition of impact fees to be im- <br />posed upon those developing within the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Bohlmann moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: <br />Boehmer, Bohlmann, McKay, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: O'Grady. 5 Aye - <br />1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 89-6 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-30 introduced by Councilmen Wilamosky, Bohlmann and Tallon was <br />given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of <br />$150,000 notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds to pay costs of improving <br />the city street system by acquiring and installing signals, signs and other <br />equipment and devices to direct and control the flow of vehicular and pedestrian <br />traffic. Mr. Wilamosky moved Ordinance No. 89-30 be tabled, second by Mr. O'Grady, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-30 TABLED. <br />Ordinance No. 89-43 introduced by Councilman Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />89-43 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 89-48 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the repair of Sunset Oval, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 89-50 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky on behalf of Mayor Petrigac was <br />given its first reading. A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North <br />Olmsted for the Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 1990, and submitting the same <br />to the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 89-51 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />one (1) truck paint spray booth for the North Olmsted Service Department, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-52 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending <br />December 31, 1989, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension <br />of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 89-52 adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate with respect to Ordinance No. 89-53, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. Fiscal Officer's Certificate presented .forthwith. <br />Ordinance No. 89-53 introduced by Councilmen Wilamosky, Bohlmann and Tallon was <br />given its first reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of <br />$180,000 notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds to cover costs of im- <br />proving the city street system by acquiring and installing signals, signs and <br />other equipment and devices to direct and control the flow of vehicular and <br />pedestrian traffic. <br />
