!• <br />Council Minutes of 5/16/89 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 89-46 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Bohlmann, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-46 adopted. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />President Saringer introduced Marie Case and thanked her for the donation of a <br />large black cauldron which she had presented to the city a number of years aga. <br />The cauldron graces the area in front of Old Town Hall and is planted with seasonal <br />flowers and plants. President Saringer presented a plaque, acknowledging Marie Case <br />as the donor, which will be bracketed to the cauldron. <br />Mr. Bohlmann scheduled a Legislation Committee Meeting for Monday, May 22nd, at <br />7:30 P.M., for the purpose of interviewing D. Younghun Sohn for the ARB. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for Monday, May 22nd, at 8 P.M <br />to. discuss the Employees' hospitalization "cap" and invited members of council, <br />Finance Director and Budget and Management Director to be in attendance. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for Thursday, May 25th, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Wilamosky displayed a box of Tide with a phosphate level banned in the city <br />by Ordinance No. 77-198; asked what plans the administration had made to correct <br />this problem since he had last brought it up. Mayor responded that the Safety <br />Director continually monitors stores by personal. inspections. Mr. Wilamosky also <br />mentioned that while it was too late to get Fairview Park to adopt legislation, <br />it is not too late to deal with Olmsted Township and this should be a consideration <br />when the contract is negotiated. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Saringer <br />adjourned the Council Meeting at 9:20 P.M. <br />~- <br />lorence E.
