Leeb, Jr., 27681 Laurell Lane, <br />expressing his appreciation to all who worked to pass the recent Parks and <br />Recreation Levy. He has personally enjoyed the many activities offered at the <br />Recreation Center; noted that. it has provided jobs for the young adults of the <br />community as well and may prove to be a deterrent to juvenile crime. While it <br />may raise property taxes, it will also raise the overall quality of the city <br />and overall home valuations. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 89-26 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to approve current replacement pages to the Codified Ordinances; to <br />adopt new matter, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-26 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-27 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City. of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />89-27 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-37 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Chapter <br />903, "Sidewalks", Section 903.01 entitled "Permit Required; Fees", and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 89-37 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 89-38 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the reconstruction and replacement of the box culvert and head walls located on <br />Bradley Road in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolu- <br />tion No. 89-38 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-39 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing Chapter 909 of the Codified Ordinances entitled, "Aprons", <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. <br />Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-39 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-42 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-42 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-43 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31,.1989. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-45 introduced by Mr. Boehmer on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />Entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending Lt. Thomas <br />E. Weston on the occasion of his retirement. Mr. Boehmer moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings as well. as referral to committee, second by Mrs. Bahas, <br />unanimously approved.
