rt. <br />. Council Minutes of 4/18/89 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 89-27 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Referred to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-28 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer and make appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. <br />Resolution No. 89-32 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for one <br />(1) radio base console for the North Olmsted Police Division, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, <br />second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-32 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-36 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the method by which fees for the use of the facilities of <br />the Recreation Department are to be fixed, and repealing Ordinance No. 86-29, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Bohlmann moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 89-36 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-37 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Chapter <br />903, "Sidewalks", Section 903.01 entitled, "Permit Required; Fees", and declaring <br />an emergency. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Resolution No. 89-38 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the construction and replacement of the box culvert and head walls located on <br />Bradley Road, in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Streets and Drainage Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-39 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing Chapter 909 of the Codified Ordinances entited, "Aprons", <br />and declaring an emergency. Ref erred to BZD Committee. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />President Saringer announced that the North Olmsted Democratic Club had donated <br />$75 toward the Memorial Park Fund. Also,. because of the Primary Election on <br />Tuesday, May 2nd, the next regular council meeting will be on Wednesday, May 3rd. <br />Mr. Boehmer scheduled a Safety Committee Meeting, immediately following the special <br />council meeting tomorrow evening. <br />Mrs. Bahas scheduled A Long Range Planning Committee Meeting for May 9th, at <br />7:30 P.M., to discuss the city property on Butternut Ridge Road and requested the <br />attendance of the Mayor, Tom Fattlar, Don Copeland, representatives from Kiwanis <br />and Horizon's and Council-of-the-Whole Committee to be in attendance. <br /> <br />;~ <br />
