,~. . <br />' ' Council Minutes of 4/18/89 -5- <br />Audience participation: <br />Bill Lackey, 4449 Ranchview, expressed his appreciation to the Legislative <br />Committee for recommending adoption of the one year renewal levy for the <br />Cuyahoga County Public Library. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 89-13 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance setting the compensation to be paid each Member of the Architectural <br />Review Board, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. Tallon, unanimously defeated. Ordinance No. 89-13 NOT adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-20 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-20 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-21 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform part- <br />time personnel of the Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />89-21 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 89-22 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution in support of the Cuyahoga County Public Library 5-Year One Mill <br />Levy Renewal on May 2, 1989. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by <br />Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-22 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 89-23 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for one, 20 <br />cubic yard sludge-hauling box, for.use.at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 89-23 addpted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-29 introduced by Councilmen Wilamosky, Bohlmann and Tallon was <br />given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of <br />$205,000 notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds to pay costs of ac- <br />quiring an emergency rescue vehicle and equipment, including turn-out gear, <br />air packs and tanks, radio equipment, hoses and nozzles, for use in carrying out <br />functions of the Division of Fire of the Department of Public Safety. <br />Ordinance No. 89-30 introduced by Councilmen Wilamosky, Bohlmann and Tallon was <br />given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of <br />$150,000 notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds to pay costs of improving <br />the city's street system by acquiring and installing signals, signs and other <br />equipment and devices to direct and control the flow of vehicular and pedestrian <br />traffic . <br />Ordinance No. 89-31 introduced by Councilmen O'Grady, Wilamosky, Bohlmann and <br />Tallon was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and <br />sale of $145,000 notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of <br />improving the Municipal Sewerage System, by acquiring, constructing and installing <br />storm sewers, storm water retention. basins, storm water drainage control equipment <br />and catch basins, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 89-26 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to approve current replacement pages to the Codified Ordinances; to <br />adopt new matter, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br /> <br />
