Council Minutes of 4/4/89 -6- <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 89-6 introduced by Councilmen McKay and Bohlmann was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of North Olmsted to solicit proposals from engineering firms for the purpose of <br />providing the city with estimates of cost for the preparation of a comprehensive <br />ordinance dealing with the establishment and imposition of impact fees to be <br />imposed upon those developing within the City of North Olmsted. President. <br />Saringer requested this be discussed. in joint Finance/BZD Committees. <br />Ordinance No. 89-20 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 89-21 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform, <br />part-time personnel of the Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 89-22 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution in support of the Cuyahoga County Public Library 5 Year One Mill <br />Levy Renewal on May 2, 1989. <br />Resolution No. 89-23 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for one <br />20 cubic yard sludge-hauling box for use at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 89-25 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the sale of four buses owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule <br />requiring three readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. Boehmer, unani- <br />mously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 89-25 adopted. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />President Saringer reminded everyone that the next meeting of the Planning Review <br />Committee was scheduled for Wednesday, April 19th, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for Tuesday, April 11th at <br />7:30 P.M. to discuss Ord. Nos. 89-20 and 89-21 and requested the Finance Director <br />to be in attendance. Will then meet jointly with the BZD Committee to discuss Ord. <br />No. 89-6. Also, had previously asked the administration to have the Engineering <br />Department prepare information for a subdivision of the Barton Road property owned <br />by the city. This is a wide parcel; asked for a subdivision to retain 80 feet of <br />the vacant property not occupied by the house and garage; once this information is <br />received, will make additional recommendations. <br />Mr. Bohlmann scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for Tuesday, April 11th, at <br />7;15 P.M, to discuss Ordinance No. 89-22, the Public Library renewal levy. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Saringer <br />adjourned the council meeting at 9:55 P.M. <br />Q . <br />lorence E.
