Council Minutes of 2/21/89 -4- LEGISLATION (cont'd): Ordinance No. 89-4 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. An ordinance approving and accepting a collective bargaining agreement with the Western Cuyahoga Lodge No. 25 of the Fraternal Order of Police and directing the Mayor to enter into said agreement, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wila- mosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Ordin- ance No. 89-4 adopted. Ordinance No. 89-7 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989, as amended. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-7 adopted. Resolution No. 89-9 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the reconstruction and replacement of Culvert No. 6 located on McKenzie Road, in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 89-10 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids with an outside contractor for the purpose of providing, on a contract basis, leaf pick-up service throughout the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 89-12 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Referred to Finance Committee. Ordinance No. 89-13 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordinance setting the compensation to be paid each member of the Architectur- al Review Board, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. Ordinance No. 89-14 introduced by Mr. O'Grady on behalf of Mrs. Bahas was given its first reading. An ordinance for the improvement of a portion of public highway which is described as follows: (1) the construction of Crocker-Stearns (CR-118) Extension, with turning lanes where needed, from Lorain Road to the North Olmsted North Corporation Line; .and (2) the grade, drain, pave, and widen to four lanes of Stearns Road (CR-76) from I-480 to Lorain Road, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Long Range Planning Committee. Ordinance No. 89-15 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its first reading. An ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 945 of the Codified Ordinances entitled, "Community Cabin/Senior Center" and repealing Ordinance No. 88-77, and declaring an emergency. Miscellaneous business: President Saringer pointed out, with respect to Ordinance No. 89-13, that several years ago she had recommended council consider compensation for some of the other boards and commissions. This legislation is to increase compensation for the ARB and other boards and commissions do not even receive reimbursement for their gas mileage. Would the Finance Committee please consider this disparity when discussing Ordinance No. 89-13? _.
