1 • ~~ <br />Council Minutes of 2/6/89 <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />President Saringer requested Chairman Boehmer to discuss signalization at <br />Walter/Lorain Roads at the next Safety Committee Meeting. <br />-6- <br />Mr. Bohlmann scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for Thursday, February <br />16th, at 7:30 P.M. to interview Mr. Charles Miller for the Landmarks Commission <br />and also to discuss the fees at Community Cabin. Requested Service Director <br />Noble and other interested people to be in attendance. <br />Mr. Boehmer scheduled a Safety Committee Meeting for Tuesday, February 14th, <br />at 7:30 P.M., and requested Safety Director Becker, Chief VanKuren in attendance <br />to discuss Fire Department equipment and Captain Krynak to be in attendance to <br />discuss the traffic light at Walter and Lorain Roads. <br />Law Director Gareau suggested that the ordinance with respect to ground signs, <br />introduced some years ago, be brought up for further discussion. Mr. Wilamosky <br />advised that this has been discussed with City Planner Hill. and the Review <br />Committee; will be meeting with Chamber of Commerce representatives and con- <br />cerned business people, in an open public forum, to discuss further. <br />Mayor Petrigac discussed the lack of addresses being properly displayed on <br />city streets; Councilman Wilamosky suggested the Safety Department investigate <br />and notify the businesses that do not have their address properly displayed to <br />do so. Mr. Bohlmann suggested that reflective addresses on residential prop- <br />erties would also be effective since some of these are hard to find also. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Saringer <br />adjourned the Council Meeting at 9:20 P.M. <br />f ,- <br />b ~. <br />Florence E.
