Council Mirrutes of 11/20/90 <br />LEGISLATION (CONTIN[TED): <br />Reso ution No. was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. <br />Tallon. A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to <br />the City of North OLnsted, Ohio, during the year 1991, all tax money due <br />and owing said City from arty collection source. Mr. Tallon asked <br />Council's consideration for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. Mr. Tallon moved <br />to adopt; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed unanimously. Resolution No. <br />90-159 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-160 was introduced by Mayor Boyle and placed on first <br />reading. An ordinance amenKiing Section 161.10 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Affirmative Action <br />Program", arxi declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 90-161 was introduced by Mr. Tallon and placed on first <br />reading. An ordinance establishing vacation policy for nonbargaining <br />unit administrative and legislative employees and declaring an <br />emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 90-162 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. <br />O'Grady. A resolution proclaiming November 25, 1990 through December 1, <br />1990 as Winter Safety Week. Mr. O'Grady requested Council's <br />considerati~ for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and <br />Committee referral; second by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption; seco~ by Mr. Nashar; passed unanunously. <br />Resolution No. ~-162 adopted. <br />Mr. Tallon moved that Council go into Executive Session to discuss <br />personnel wages arxi salaries; second by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. <br />Council adjourned to go into Executive Session. <br />President Boetnner called the meeting back to order and proceeded with <br />Miscellaneous Business. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Mayor Boy a announc that he had sent Council Members a list of all <br />members of City Boards and Gommi.ssions. There will be at least one term <br />expiration on each; Yye would appreciate comments and suggestions as to <br />those who should be retained arxi names of new nominees. <br />Mrs. Saringer moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Babas and Mr. Leonard; <br />second by Mr. O'Grady; passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business, <br />President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 9:27 p.m. <br />`_~ <br />bara L.
