MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING
JULY 3, 1990
7:00 P.M.
Present: President James Boehmer, Council Members Bahas, O'Grady
Saringer, Tallon.
Also present: Finance Director Burns
Public Hearing was called to order by President Boehmer at 7:05 P.M.
President Boehmer announced that Ordinance No. 90-46 was on for Public
Hearing this evening. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the
Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, which Zone Map is part of the
Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing the premises
hereinafter described from Single Residence B District to General Re-
tail Business District.
Audience participation:
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Thomason, 4792 Silverdale Road, objected to changing
these premises because the extension of the parking lot behind the Chinese
restaurant would encroach on the neighborhood; downgrading the value of
property. This parking lot is already a disgusting eyesore. Mr. O'Grady
advised that fencing would be placed along the rear property line and a
landscaped buffer would be placed on the street side. This proposal
has been approved by Planning Commission and referred to council for
passage.
There being no further discussion, President Boehmer adjourned the Public
Hearing at 7:20 P.M.
i~~
Florence E. Campbell, Cl of Counc' awes D. Boehmer, President of Council
