Council Minutes of 6/19/90 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 90-78 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. <br />A resolution declaring the necessity of an election on the question of <br />approving the passage of an ordinance to amend Sections 1501.0101, 1501.0501, <br />1501.0502, 1501.1302, 1501.1901 and 1501.2101 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, in order to increase the Municipal Income Tax Rate <br />from one percent to two percent and to increase the Municipal Income Tax Rate <br />to seventy-five percent of the income tax paid to another municipality on in- <br />come taxed by the City of North Olmsted to the extent that the income tax so paid <br />does not exceed two percent of that taxable income, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-79 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to establish within the Special Revenue Fund Group A "Permanent <br />Improvement and Solid Waste Management Fund - Income Tax" and a "Street and <br />Storm Water Drainage Systems Fund - Income Tax" of the City of North Olmsted <br />for portions of the City's Muncipal Income Tax Revenues, and to establish accounts <br />within these funds, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-80 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the organization of the Police Division of the Department <br />of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-81 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of renovating, remodeling, rehabilitating, <br />furnishing, equipping, and otherwise improving the Municipal Recreation Center <br />and improving and equipping its site. <br />Resolution No. 90-82 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />six 23,000 lbs. GVWR chassis (low profile), six super duty dump bodies and <br />hoists, and six 10' power angle snow plows, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 90-83 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for one diesel-engine driven, four wheel drive, articulated, rubber-tired <br />wheel loader with 2.0 yd. hook on bucket, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 90-84 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />one integral tractor-loader-backhoe wheel type, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 90-85 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />one vacuum street sweeper, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 90-86 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />sanitary sewer replacement and repair throughout various areas throughout <br />the City of North Olmsted, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and <br />declaring an emergency.. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 90-86 adopted. <br />
