Council Minutes of 6/5/90 <br />-6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution Nu. 90-78 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its first reading. <br />Ares.© cation declaring the necessity of an election on the question of approving <br />the passage of an ordinance to amend Sections 1501.0101, 1501.0501, 1501.0502,. 1501.x,31 <br />1501.1901 and 1501.2101 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, in order to increase the municipal income tax rate from 1% to 2% and to <br />increase the municipal income tax credit to 75% of the. income tax paid to <br />another municipality on income taxed by the City of North Olmsted to the <br />extent that the income tax so paid does not exceed 2% of that taxable income, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-79 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to establish within the Special Revenue Fund Group A "Permanent <br />Improvement and Snlid Waste Management Fund - Income Tax" and a "Sheet and <br />Storm Water Drainage Systems Fund - Income Tax" of the City of North Olmsted <br />for portions of the City's Municipal Income Tax Revenues, and to establish <br />accounts within those funds, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-80 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organi2aton of the Police Division of the <br />Department of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. McKay scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for Monday, <br />June 11th, at 7:30 P.M. and requested. the Mayor, Service Director and Director <br />of Human Resources to be in attendance. <br />Mrs. Saringer commented that the three teams from North Olmsted who participated <br />on the Odyssey of the Mind team participated in Iowa in the world competition <br />and all three teams won world championships. Also, the scouts who acted as <br />Honorary Officials at Last Saturday's mock council meeting did an excellent <br />fob and should be commended. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, the 13th of <br />June at 8:00, immediately following the BZD Committee meeting. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at 9:02 P.M. <br />F orence E.
