Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule re- <br />quiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mrs. <br />Bahas. .Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: McKay, Bahas, Saringer, <br />Tallon, O'Grady, Nashar. Negative vote: Leonard. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion <br />carried. Mr. Leonard explained that he voted "no" on this ordinance be- <br />cause the Senior Center has been without this position since its inception <br />and with budgetary constraints does not believe in creating a new position <br />that pays more than the previous position of clerk. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: <br />McKay, Bahas, Saringer, Tallon, O'Grady, Nashar. Ordinance No. 90-72 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-73 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. <br />An emergency ordinance by the .City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga, <br />Ohio, in the matter of upgrading the two existing traffic signals at the <br />interchange of IR 480 and SR 252 in the City. of North Olmsted, requiring <br />the addition of an interconnect cable to provide compatibility with ex- <br />isting and proposed city-wide signalization system. <br />Resolution No. 90-74 introduced. by Mr. Nashar was given its first reading. <br />A resolution objecting to the renewal of a liquor permit bearing No. <br />4876273, Class D5, for Kriaris, Incorporated, also known as Star Lounge, <br />located at 29344-52 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-75 introduced by Councilmen Nashar and Leonard was given <br />its first reading. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the <br />City of North Olmsted by providing for the installation of a "No Right <br />Turn on Red".sign at Lorain and Barton Roads, regulating traffic travelling <br />in a westerly direction, to read: "No Right Turn on Red From 4:00 P.M. <br />to 6:00 P.M." Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings as well as ref erral to co~aomittee, second by Mr. McKay, unani- <br />mously approved. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, <br />unanimously. approved. Ordinance No. 90-75 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-76 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 1135.02 of the Zoning Code .entitled "Accessory <br />Uses and Buildings" of Chapter 1135 of the Zoning Code entitled "Residence <br />Districts". <br />Ordinance No. 90-77 was introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its first <br />reading. An ordinance to amend Sections 1501.0101, 1501.0501, 1501.0502, <br />1501.1302, 1501.1901 and 1501.2101 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio in order to increase the municipal income tax rate from <br />1% to 2% and to increase the municipal income tax credit to 75% of income <br />tax paid to another municipality on income tax paid by the City of North <br />Olmsted to the extent that the income tax so paid does not exceed 2% of . <br />that taxable income, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br /> <br />
