Council Minutes of 5/1/90 _4_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 90-54 introduced by Mrs. Bahas was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 713 of the Business Regulation Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Structures for Nan-transients" <br />by adding thereto a new Section 713.19 entitled "Occupancy Restrictions", and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-55 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses for the City of <br />North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1990. Mrs. .Saringer moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referxa~l, ~to k'inance <br />Committee, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Mrs. Saringer moved for <br />adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 90-55 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-56 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading, <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current and other expenditures for the <br />year ending December 31, 1990. Ordinance No. 90-56 adopted. <br />Mrs. Saringer requested Finance Director Burns to present a Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate with respect to Ordinance No. 90-57; Fiscal Officer's Certificate <br />presented to council. <br />Ordinance No. 90-57 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance of bonds to pay costs of improving <br />Great Northern Boulevard, Country Club Boulevard, Victoria Lane and Kennedy <br />Ridge Road, between certain termini, by removing the existing pavement, grading, <br />draining, curbing, preparing the pavement base, paving and construction and recon- <br />structing storm sewers and sanitary sewers where necessary together with the <br />necessary appurtenances thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 90-58 introduced by the Mayor and the entire Council was given <br />its first reading. An ordinance authorizing and dixecting the Mayor of the <br />City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Western Reserve Engineering <br />and Survey Company for the purpose of preparing plans and specifications for the <br />repair of certain streets in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. Leonard moved council have no objection to the transfer of a D5 liquor permit <br />for Lauren Properties, Inc., second by Mr. Nashar, unanimously approved. <br />President Boehmer announced two special council meetings to be held on May 7th <br />and May 9th, at 7:00 P.M., to cover second and third readings of Ordinance Nos. <br />90-57 and 90-58. <br />Streets and Drainage/Finance Committee Meeting was scheduled for May 7th immediately <br />following the special council meeting at 7:00 P.M. <br />Mrs. Bahas scheduled a Long Range Planning Committee meeting for May 14th at <br />7:30 P.M. to discuss Ordinance No. 90-53. <br /> <br />
