_' Council Minutes of 4/17/90 <br />-4- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 90-43 introduced by Mrs. Bahas was given its second reading. An <br />~''" ordinance creating anew full-time administrative position to be known as Clerk <br />~I of Commissions, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-44 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1990. <br />Ordinance No. 90-46 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, <br />which Zone Map is part of Che Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing <br />the premises hereinafter described from Single Residence B District to General <br />Retail Business District. <br />Resolution No. 90-47 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its first reading. A <br />resolution requesting the Ohio Department of Transportation to improve Lorain <br />Road, State Route 10, from the west corporation line to the east corporation <br />line, by resurfacing, and declaring an emergency. Referred to joint Streets and <br />Drainage/Finance Committees. <br />Resolution No. 90-48 introduced by Mayor. Boyle was given its first reading. A <br />resolution designating the Bearded Iris as the. official city flower, and re- <br />pealing Resolution No. 79-167. Referred to Environmental Control Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 90-49 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Northern <br />Ohio Patrolmens' Benevolent Association, which agreement is the collective <br />bargaining agreement between the City and the North Olmsted Police Department <br />:dispatchers, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings. as well as referral to committee, second by <br />Mr. Nashar, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Nashar, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 90-49 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 90-50 introduced by Mrs. Bahas was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for <br />the renovation of the North Olmsted Park outdoor restrooms for the North Olmsted <br />Parks and Recreation Department and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Bahas moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved. Resolution No. 90-50 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 90-51 introduced by Mrs. Bahas was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. 90-38 entitled, "an ordinance <br />establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel, and declaring an emergency", and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings.as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved.
