e <br />Council Minutes of 2/6/90 <br />-7- <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. McKay commented that in the Wastewater Treatment Plant silo there was <br />a substantial amount of carbon that is not going to be used any longer; <br />Superintendent Crider indicated that, with EPA approval, the city could <br />get rid of it. Does Mayor Boyle know if anything has been done yet? <br />Mayor Boyle responded that he had not discussed this with Mr. Crider, how- <br />ever, he would certainly check it out with him the early part of next week <br />and report back to Mr. McKay. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for Thursday, February 15th, <br />at 8 P.M., and requested Mayor Boyle, Finance Director Burns and Service <br />Director Bohlmann to be in attendance. Among other items, Ordinance Nos. <br />90-8 and 90-9 will be discussed. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Safety Committee Meeting for Thursday, February 15th, <br />at 7 P.M., to discuss Ordinance No. 90-12 and requested the attendance of <br />Chief Marsh, or his representative, as well as Safety Director Gundy. <br />Mrs. Bahas scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for Tuesday, February <br />13th, at 7:30 P.M., for the purpose of interviewing the Mayoral appoint- <br />ments, as well as discussion of Ordinance No. 90-10 covering Charter amend- <br />ments. Requested the Clerk of Council to notify the appointees and request <br />their presence. <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for Thursday, February 15th, <br />immediately following the Finance Committee Meeting, to discuss Ordinance No. <br />90-11. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President <br />Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at 9:05 P.M. <br />~. <br />F orence E.
