<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved council recess at this time to allow Mrs. Saringer to be
<br />~., sworn in and then adjourn to an organizational meeting, second by Mrs. Babas,
<br />' unanimously approved.
<br />Council recessed at 8:35 P.M., at which time Mayor Boyle administered the oath
<br />of office to Janet Saringer to fill the unexpired term of Councilman-at-Large
<br />Bohlmann. Council then adjourned for the purpose of conducting an organizational
<br />meeting and reconvened at 8:45 P.M.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend Council's Standing Rule No. 13 to provide for the
<br />joining of two committees, i.e. (d) Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation
<br />Committee and (i) Long Range Planning Committee, having the same responsibilities
<br />and chairmanship, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved.
<br />President Boehmer announced the 1990 Standing Committees of Council, with the
<br />first person named to serve as Chairman:
<br />Building, Zoning and Development: Janet Saringer, Tom O'Grady, Ron Tallon;
<br />Environmental Control: Dean McKay, Ron Wilamosky, James Leonard;
<br />Finance: Ron Tallon, Janet Saringer, Tom O'Grady;
<br />Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation/Long Range Planning: Pat Babas,
<br />Tom O'Grady, Dean McKay;
<br />Public Saf ety, Health and Welfare: Tom O'Grady, James Leonard, Ron Wilamosky;
<br />Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings: Pat Babas, Ron Tallon, Ron Wilamosky;
<br />Streets and Drainage: Ron Wilamosky, Dean McKay, Janet Saringer;
<br />Transportation: James Leonard, Pat Babas, Dean McKay.
<br />President Boehmer also announced the following appointments: Ethics Commission:
<br />James Boehmer, James Leonard and Janet Saringer. Cable TV Advisory Board:
<br />Ron Tallon and Tom O'Grady.
<br />Mr. O'Grady moved council appoint Pat Babas to serve as President Pro Tem of
<br />Council, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved.
<br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Streets and Drainage Committee Meeting for Monday, January
<br />15th, at 7:30 P.M., to discuss Ordinance No. 89-105.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of Council's Standing Rule No. 21 - to strike
<br />it in its entirety; second by Mr. O'Grady. .Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote:
<br />Wilamosky, Saringer, Tallon, McKay. Negative vote: O'Grady, Leonard, Babas.
<br />4 Aye - 3 Nay - Motion carried. Standing Rule No. 21 abolished.
<br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Boehmer
<br />adjourned the council meeting at 8:55 P.M.
