.. <br />s <br />MINUTES ME TES COUNCIL <br />OF ~ 0 OLMSTID <br />DECEMBER 18, 1991 <br />Present: Council President Boehmer, Council Members Leonard, Lind, McKay, <br />Nashar, Sariinger, Tallon. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director <br />James Burns, Clerk of Council Barbara Semen. <br />Absent: Council Member Bahas. <br />Council President Boel~r called the meeting to order at 8:12 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience weere invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Minutes of the meeting of December 3, 1991 were approved as written. <br />Council President Boehmer announced that the following legislation would be <br />passed under suspension of the rules: Ord. No. 91-189, Res. Nos. 9i-190, 192, <br />193, 194. In addition, Ordinance No. 91-150 would be removed from the agenda; <br />Res. No. 91-173 would be added to the agenda. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Reso ut~ ion No. 91-192 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of the Mayor and the entire Council. A resolution commending the public <br />service of Ronald James Tallon, Sr. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings arul committee review; second by Mr. Leonard. Roll call: <br />Mr. McKay, yes; Mr. Leonard, yes; Mr. Lind, yes; Mr. Nashar, yes; Mrs. Beringer, <br />yes; Mr. Tallon, abstain. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Leonard. <br />Roll call: Mr. McKay, yes; Mr. Leonard, yes; Mrs. Beringer, yes; Mr. Nashar, <br />yes; Mr. Lind, yes; Mr. Tallon, abstain. Motion passes with five affirmative <br />votes. Resolution No. 91-192 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-193 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Leonard. <br />A resolution commending the public service of Russell L. Bierman, Sr. Mr. <br />Leonard moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and ccxr~mmittee <br />review; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Mr. Leonard rived for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-193 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-194 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. <br />Beringer on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution commending the <br />public service of Councilman Thomas P. O'Grady. Mrs. Beringer moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by <br />Mr. Nashar; passed iaiani,mously. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Nashar; passed unanimously. Resolution loo. 91-194 adopted. <br />
