rr ~ ' <br />..7 <br />Council Minutes of 12/18/91 <br />LEGISLATION (CONTINUED) <br />Resolution No. 9 - introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the construction of alterations to the HVAC system at City Hall in the City of <br />North Olmsted, arxi declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption; second <br />by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-172 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-173 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the construction of alterations to the firing range at the Police Station in the <br />City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Lind. Roll call: Tallon, yes; Lind, yes; McKay, yes; <br />Nashar, yes; Beringer, yes; Leonard, no. Motion passes with five affirmative <br />votes aril. one no vote. Resolution No. 91-173 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-185 introduced by Mrs. Babas was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance limiting part-time employment within the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-18b introduced by Mrs. Babas and Mr. Leonard was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the <br />City of North Olmsted, which Zone Map is part of the 2oni.ng Code of the City of <br />North Olmsted, by changing the premises hereinafter described from Single <br />Residence A District to General Retail Business District. <br />Resolution No. 91-187 was introduced and placed on first readxag by Mr. Nashar. <br />A resolution requesting the Chi_o Department of Transportation to improve Lorain <br />Road, State Route 10, from the west corporation line to the east corporation Line <br />by resurfacing and curb repair, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 91-188 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. <br />A resolution requesting the Ohio Department of Transportation to i~rove <br />Brookpark Road, State Route 17, from the intersection of Lorain Road to the east <br />corporation line by resurfacing and curb repair and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 91-189 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Tallon. <br />An ordinance to transfer and make appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for year ending December 31, 1991. <br />Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Mr. Tallon moved <br />for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-189 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-190 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Leonard. <br />A resolution opposing the State of Ohio being selected as a nuclear waste dumping <br />site for six Midwestern states and declaring an emergency. Mr. Leonard moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by <br />Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. Mr. Leonard moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Nashar; passed vna~;mously.
